Delete Your VayaMzansi Account

VayaMzansi users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

How to request account deletion

Send an email to info@vayamzansi.org with the subject:

Account Deletion Request

Please include:

• The name associated with your VayaMzansi account

• The email address or mobile number associated with your account

• A statement confirming that you want your VayaMzansi account deleted

We may need to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account and personal information from unauthorized deletion.

What will be deleted

Once your request has been verified and processed, VayaMzansi will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account that is no longer required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

This may include your account profile and other personal information associated with your use of the VayaMzansi platform.

Information we may retain

Certain information may need to be retained where required or permitted by applicable law or where reasonably necessary for purposes such as financial and transaction records, regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Information that must be retained will be protected and retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.
